New to sprinting

Hey can I have some help please?

I currently run at 13.5sec for 100m. I know I can be alot quicker then this but I am unfit at the moment and I slow down dramatically at the end. I haven't ever done training for running b4. I would like to build a good base for when I start rugby league at uni. Would it be too much trouble if I could have a program to help me increase speed and I dunno acceleration? I don't understand the abbreviations you use either sorry.

40m would be the most common running distance I would be faced with.
