First time shot put and discus coach seeking advise.

I am coaching 7th & 8th grade shot put and discus. I have no background in either one of these events, but I am commited to teaching these young men to be as successful as possible. can anyone guide me to web sites with good lesson plans and beginners techniques.
I am a first time shot and discus coach for 7th and 8th grade boys. I will be greatful for any advise in teaching these young men to be as successful as they can possibly be
