I have a problem lifting my knees when I run, I was told its because I have weak hip flexors. I am a collegiate runner and I run decent times in the 200/400 but I tend to "scoot" around the track. Just picture Micheal Johnson's running form...but 10 times worse. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I should do to strengthen myself? If you have any suggestions on workouts for the rest of the summer I'm all ears

As far as form goes, we do a lot with strides before and after practice that target form-training your body to carry your arms correctly, getting your feet down quickly, etc. There are a lot of instructional DVDs and videos out there.
