Leg Turn-Over Ratio

Post by Runner »

I heard somewhere that the most efficient turnover for a distance runner is 3 strides per second, making it around 180 strides per minute.

A few people I have talked to have told me this. Is it at all true?

Yes, this is the optimal stride rate for M.D. runners. :)
